Branding for a Sustainable Craft Brewery in the Cotswolds
Cotswold Lakes Brew Co. is a new craft brewery in the UK, competing in a crowded and saturated market. They needed a brand identity that would stand out from the competition and reflect their commitment to brewing high-quality craft beer.
The new branding and website for Cotswold Lakes Brew Co. have been well-received by both critics and customers. The brand has been praised for its visual appeal and its reflection of the brewery's values. The new website has also been praised for its user-friendly design and its informative content.
Branding
We worked with Cotswold Lakes Brew Co. to develop a brand identity that has a clean and minimal style with a strong color palette to identify each beer. This set them apart from the other craft breweries that revel in loud and shouty designs, whereas Cotswold Lakes Brew Co. caters to the true beer connoisseurs.
The logo features a stylised kingfisher and the colour palette is inspired by the natural beauty of the Kingfisher and Cotswolds region where the Brewery and Tap Room is located.
The clean and readily identified branding has helped Cotswold Lakes Brew Co. to grow their business and reach a wider audience. The brewery's beers are now available in pubs throughout the Cotswolds and within their Brewery based Tap Room.
Website Design and SEO
Creation of a Craft Brewery website and ecommerce platform that is both user-friendly and visually appealing. We used a clean and minimal design with a focus on high-quality images of the brewery's beer.
The ecommerce platform is powered by Wordpress coupled with WooCommerce, which allows customers to easily purchase the brewery's beer online. Integrating their preferred checkout and inventory management system has allowed seemless stock management of their sales.
The website also includes a Blog and eNewsletter where the brewery can share news and updates with their customers. These updates are shared via their successful regular monthly eNewsletter achieveing well over 10% click through rates and more than 50% open rates.
Product Design
Working with the Brewery team and printers, we have created a range of beer labels for the 'core' range of Cotswold Lakes Brew Co. craft beers. Each label designed to be affixed to either 440ml cans or 500ml bottles, creating a design challenge to maintain brand unity across the product range. To date we have created 8+ core beer labels that have evolved with the breweries objectives.
The brewery has also began to brew in-house creating 'whitelabelled' beer ranges for pubs and hotels across the Cotswolds. We have worked with their clients to produce some breathtaking beer designs.
