Creating an online presence for Alternative Music for the UK

When we first started working with AltCorner, it was clear that they had ambitious goals but needed a solid foundation for their web strategy. We mapped out a plan of action for both their social media and website. Once we agreed on a plan, we began working on AltCorner's logo, house styling, and color scheme. We worked closely with their team to develop a brand that is now seen at festivals, concerts, on YouTube, and of course, their website.

The AltCorner website needed a lot of functionality and user integration to prosper. On the backend, the website has sections for News, Interviews, Reviews, Bands, Galleries, and Festivals, with sub-sections for things like Band Members, Authors, and Photographers. All of these sections communicate with one another to ensure that everything is linked. For example, a single band page displays all of the recent articles tagged to that band under "recent articles."

We created a strategy for AltCorner in terms of when to post and how to optimize their articles on their website. We also created a plan and set up their social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook. AltCorner has become a firm staple in the Alternative music scene since their formation in December 2014, and their website has been often accredited for such success.

SEO for Music Magazine

AltCorner is a leading online magazine for alternative music fans. The website publishes news, interviews, reviews, and other content related to the alternative music scene. AltCorner's goal was to increase traffic to their website and improve their visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs).

We developed a comprehensive SEO plan for AltCorner that focused on the following key areas:

Keyword research: We conducted keyword research to identify the keywords and phrases that AltCorner's target audience is searching for. We then optimized the website's content and structure for these keywords and phrases.
On-page SEO: We made a number of on-page SEO improvements to the AltCorner website, including optimizing the title tags, meta descriptions, and header tags. We also improved the website's internal linking structure and made sure that the content was well-written and informative.
